These Terms of Service govern your use of Muslih together with our Privacy Policy and AI Disclaimer, both incorporated by reference. Please read all three before creating an account.

About the names in this document. Muslih is both the name of this app and the name of the AI guide in your paired sessions (conversations you and your partner have together, with the AI helping you talk things through). Nikky is a separate AI for Friend Mode: a one-on-one chat that only you take part in. At your request, Nikky can also carry something to your partner for you: a reminder (Partner Reminders) or a message in her own words (Convey). In this document, "guided sessions" means the paired sessions with Muslih, and "Friend Mode" means your one-on-one chats with Nikky.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Muslih, an AI-assisted companion app for couples (the "Service"), operated by Syed Nadeem Ahmed, an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we," "us," or "the Operator"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and AI Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Muslih helps couples communicate and reflect together using an AI guide, Muslih, and an individual AI companion named Nikky (Friend Mode). Features include guided sessions for one partner or both, session summaries and follow-up check-ins, relationship insights, Friend Mode chat, a private feed for the two of you (moods, notes, reactions and Coffee Break questions), Partner Reminders (Nikky delivers a reminder you write to your partner), and Convey (Nikky raises something with your partner on your behalf, in her own words). The Service is provided on an evolving, "as available" basis and features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Muslih, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

4. Accounts & Partner Pairing

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Pairing links your account with a specific partner via a pairing code. You are responsible for only sharing your pairing code with your actual partner.
• You may pause the link ("Take a break") or unlink from a partner at any time; when you unlink you may choose whether to retain or delete your shared session history. Pausing or unlinking cancels any open reminders and Convey matters between you.
• You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or harm another person, including your partner.
• Use Partner Reminders or Convey to pressure, monitor, threaten, or control your partner, to deliver demands or ultimatums, or to pass on what third parties have said. Nikky is designed to decline such requests, and we may limit or suspend these features for an account that misuses them.
• Attempt to access another user's account, pairing code, or data without authorization.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying AI systems, including by trying to make Nikky reveal your partner's words or act against her rules.
• Use the Service to generate, extract, or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Share private information about other people (such as children, relatives or friends) beyond what you need to for your own conversations.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to another user for the purpose of pairing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) to generate responses, summaries, insights, and recommendations. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Neither Muslih (our AI guide) nor Nikky (our AI companion) is a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical provider, and the Service is not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or legal advice. Please review our AI Disclaimer for full details, including guidance for crisis situations.

When Nikky speaks for you (Convey and reminders). Nikky conveys in her own words. Before she speaks to your partner about a Convey matter, she shows you what she plans to raise and how far she will go, and nothing moves until you approve it; after that, the exact words are hers. Nikky is an AI and can misunderstand or phrase things in a way you would not. You are responsible for anything important being said by you, in person. Convey and reminders are for everyday matters between the two of you; Nikky is designed to decline matters involving safety, health, legal, financial or similarly serious topics, but no automated filter is perfect. Your partner may decline to hear a matter, and a matter may expire unanswered.

If you encounter an AI-generated response that seems harmful, inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise problematic, you can report it directly from within the app using the "Report" option shown on AI messages. We review reported responses and use them to improve the Service.

7. Fees, Subscriptions & Fair Use

Muslih offers a free tier alongside paid subscription plans (currently Silver, Gold, and Platinum). Paid subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play) and renew automatically unless cancelled through your store settings; prices and plan features are shown in the app before you purchase. One subscription covers both partners. We may change plan pricing or features prospectively, with clear notice before any change applies to an existing subscription.

Allowances. Some features have allowances per plan (for example, a number of sessions per person per month, or a number of Partner Reminders per couple per month, or a number of Convey matters per person per month). The current allowances are shown in the app. Convey matters are also limited to one open matter per couple at a time, with a short rest period between matters, on every plan; "unlimited" or "no limit" for Convey means no monthly cap, not several matters at once.

Fair use on unlimited plans. Where a plan is described as "unlimited" (for example, unlimited sessions or companion chat), "unlimited" refers to the number of sessions and messages you may use; it is not a commitment to any particular underlying AI model. To keep the Service sustainable for everyone, unlimited usage is subject to reasonable fair-use thresholds: during periods of exceptionally heavy usage, responses may be generated by a lighter AI model until the applicable daily or monthly threshold resets. Under this fair-use policy your access is not blocked and no feature included in your plan is removed; this is separate from Nikky declining a specific Convey request under Section 6, and from the one-at-a-time rule above. Individual sessions are also subject to a per-session time limit, after which you may simply begin a new session.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by the Operator and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the messages and content you submit, but you grant us a limited license to process, store, and use that content to provide and improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, ANYTHING NIKKY CONVEYS OR DOES NOT CONVEY, OR ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE, THROUGH APPLE OR GOOGLE, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in this section takes those away. Before starting formal proceedings, we both agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting [email protected].

14. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Muslih from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply: these Terms are between you and the Operator only, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app or your use of it, including product-liability, consumer-protection or intellectual-property claims; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of Muslih must also comply with the Apple Media Services terms or the Google Play terms, as applicable.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
